What started out as a meetup shoot with the Georgia PhotoWalkers at Marietta Square, turned into an opportunity to photograph the Marietta Farmers and Artists Market. The variety of vendors, the cool morning temperatures, and festive atmosphere combined to form the perfect morning shoot. Marietta Square is located in the historic district of Marietta, GA.
The park area is popular among local photographers, and several where their this morning. The trees make an excellent sun shade, as well as, create a nice back drop. In addition, there are several gazebos and a water fountain that just begs to be photographed. I even witnessed a small video crew, filming what looked like a make-shift music video.
It was a great morning of photography, and I may return before the farmer’s market season ends.
