With my rented Nikon 70-200 mm f/2.8 lens in hand, I headed over to Briscoe Park on Sunday afternoon. The lighting conditions were very different from DeShong. The sun was going down, as well as, a good portion of the court was shaded by trees. Thus, even with the lens wide open, the images were not as sharp and focusing not as fast, as the previous shoot. Many shots were throw-aways, but I was able to get one amazing shot of two small kids at the court. One was very much into the action on the court, while one was going on and on about something. I was not close enough to catch the conversation, but the image was priceless.
